Deforestation, oxygen depletion & reversal of the poisoning of our planet

Working together to develop the 4.5" Tesla Turbine

Since our last newsletter, approximately 3,750,000 hectares of planet Earth's forested land was destroyed -- that's roughly 10 percent of the area of Japan. Forested land is a significant source of the 400 liters of oxygen necessary for one person to live each day. So this fourth quarter deforestation translates into a major loss of breathable air for the 6-7 billion people in this world.

And that was just the final three months of 2006. Deforestation continues at a breakneck pace. Now add to this O₂ loss the massive tonnage of toxic emissions being pumped into the atmosphere by vehicles & industry -- and the future turns into a mass extinction event caused by man's arrogance and over-consumption.

Looking ahead a century ago, Nikola Tesla warned the world that environmental degradation would surely result if they pursued an engine that depended on highly refined mineral fuels.
