Greetings Club members,July 2007 If you haven't yet checked out the Phoenix Hybrids (Build-a-Hybrid) section of our website, you're missing out on a significant high-performance hybrid drivetrain project in progress!
The HEV build that we're involved in right now is directly linked to our Phoenix PDT Pulse Detonation Turbines. -- Although the first prototype (and DIY Plans) will use a small piston ICE, this entire drivetrain is designed for our high-efficiency turbine. As you can see in our new Turbine Power.pdf document, NOT all hybrid vehicles are equal. Turbines will only work in SERIES hybrids such as the one we're working on. Also, three new turbine-related PDF slideshows are now available through our PNGinc News Center. Future PTBC articles will undoubtedly feature this HEV retrofit project that is consuming so much of our attention this year. (Also more to come in the area of gas turbines.) |
