The Phoenix PDT (pulse detonation turbine) in this series HEV is 99.99% efficient -- and is the ONLY engine that cleans toxic particulate matter suspended in the air! Like a high-temperature vacuum cleaner, it ingests carbon PM and reburns the particles*, cleaning the air as it moves the vehicle down the road. In urban areas with concentrated pollution, the air will come out cleaner than it entered the intakes.
