Ultra-clean Burn from Waste Oil Now a Reality

Research aims at clean home co-generation, hybrid vehicles

PNGinc PrototypeMunising, MI -- A small company in Michigan's upper peninsula today demonstrated an amazingly clean burn from heavy recycled oil. The key to achieving ultra-clean burn from heavy oils stems from years of relentless combustion research and development carried on by PNGinc.

Most heavy oil burners and furnaces use older conventional techniques of fuel atomization, air-fuel mixing and ignition. PNGinc uses techniques developed over a number of years to modify the state of the fuel and air to combust or burn exactly like propane or natural gas. While other technologies burn off the hydrogen in the fuel and allow the carbon component to condense as black soot & smoke, PNGinc's ultra-clean burn system has the characteristic rich blue flame of a propane torch or natural gas oven.

First applications of the technology will include consumer-level power and heat co-generator systems, and powerplants for hybrid vehicles.

Interested parties may contact PNGinc directly for information on consulting and business partnership opportunities.
