DIY "Build-a-Hybrid" Vehicle Retrofit Program

PNGinc developing the lowest-cost, high-MPG HEV on the planet!

Munising, MI - Customer pre-signups are rolling in as PNGinc's "Build-a-Hybrid" vehicle retrofit program gets underway. Future retrofit projects by DIYers range from VW's & Saturn's to Ford Escapes, with enthusiasm growing over this affordable solution to rising fuel prices & deteriorating air quality.

Most people are aggravated at pump price gouging, but remain unaware that the planet's oxygen supplies are diminishing at an alarming rate. Pollution from combustion and deforestation are depleting our breathable oxygen. In fact, O₂ content in our atmosphere has plunged from 23% to a global average 19% -- with recent readings in traffic-congested Tokyo at a measly 8 percent. 

Alternatives to oxygen-depleting IC engines, such as all-electric vehicles or plug-in hybrids, are unsustainable in the U.S. because they rely on coal-fired power plants to charge up. And HEVs are unable to penetrate conventional ICE-dominated markets at the below-median income level.

To PNGinc, this was a problem begging for a strategic solution, so they set out to develop the lowest-cost, high-MPG hybrid vehicle on the planet. 

Building on the company's extensive background in electronic control & power management systems, founder Ken Rieli is gearing up to provide Build-a-Hybrid plans & HEV components to do-it-yourselfers. (In the U.S., the DIY automotive aftermarket is estimated at $38 billion and growing.) His designs are completed and a high-mileage hybrid electric vehicle prototype is underway.

With the U.S. vehicle fleet pumping out 1.3 billion tons of carbon dioxide each year, the Build-a-Hybrid vehicle retrofit program is aimed at empowering lower-income car owners with advanced HEV technology that can save on fuel while cutting emissions by 50%.

Other markets exist for the fuel-sipping hybrid drivetrain including retrofit franchises for Do-it-for-Me's, volume retrofit businesses that recycle used vehicles, and new HEV company startups.
