Tesla Turbines, High-mileage Hybrids & Global Warming

Live interview with Ken Rieli on 'Free Energy Now'

Munising, MI - A live interview with Ken Rieli on Sterling Allen's "Free Energy Now" radio show covered a lot of ground.  Although the April 14, 2007 program was billed as "Tesla Turbine: Engine of the 21st Century?", Ken used the opportunity to announce his new car company startup aimed at retrofitting vehicles with high-mileage hybrid drivetrains.

Using PNGinc's pulse detonation combustion technology, the Tesla turbine could far surpass the efficiency of the internal combustion engine. But those who hope to see a fully functional gas-powered Tesla turbine in a car/truck may have to wait another five years, predicts Rieli. Although it took the auto industry trillions of dollars & 100 years to arrive at piston ICE engine's ultimate efficiency of around 27%, most Tesla turbine developers lack resources to go beyond initial prototyping.

Rieli heads up the 1,000-member Phoenix Turbine Builders Club & has written numerous articles on low-cost, high-efficiency disc turbines.

His discussion covered a bit of history, a lot of politics, and a realistic look at how to move the world toward the 50% emissions cuts that Al Gore calls for in his movie, "An Inconvenient Truth". PNGinc's DIY hybrid vehicle builders initiative is Rieli's answer to this challenge.

The "Free Energy Now" show airs on Saturdays from 6:00 - 6:55 pm Eastern Standard Time at http://BBSRadio.com and is hosted by Sterling Allen, Executive Director of PES Network, and Founder of the New Energy Congress.
