 Munising, MI -- Predicting a shortened development cycle on its revolutionary vapor-phase turbine engine, Phoenix Navigation & Guidance Inc.'s Ken Rieli announced today that designs are completed -- development has begun.

The Phoenix Turbine, which is designed to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions, is a key component in the three-part Phoenix Environmental Remediation Plan to reverse global warming. Its multi-fuel capability allows for gradual replacement of fossil fuels in developing countries, who may be unable to make a rapid transition to the biomass fuels outlined in the Remediation Plan. Although the clean-burning turbine can easily run on diesel or kerosene -- the fuel of choice will be alcohol produced from biomass.

The company is preparing to demonstrate its turbine technology later this year.
