Carbon dioxide (CO2) is not the deadliest by-product of diesel engine combustion. Attached to the small particulate matter (PM) emitted in diesel exhaust are hundreds of chemicals that have been identified as toxic air contaminants. 

While CO2 is suffocating, these air-borne toxins attack and suppress our natural immune systems, leaving us vulnerable to acute and chronic illnesses.

No filter technology will ever trap all pollutants escaping from the incomplete burn cycle of diesel engines. Instead, the tiny carbon particulates must be burned off.
