Description

Experimental. Fully assembled, Tesla disc turbine and generator/alternator in one hermetically sealed, closed-loop unit.

	Designed for solar-steam applications; may be teamed with solar concentrators to provide low-maintenance green energy.
	Refrigerants will work in our closed-loop turbine since our bearings utilize a dynamic oil delivery system for lubrication.
	Can also be incorporated into wood- or other biomass-boiler systems as long as steam pressure & volume are maintained.

Similar in size to a common refrigerator pump. Very low maintenance and durability. Turbine, generator/alternator are built in. We include an oiling system depending on the bearings we choose. You supply everything else.

Turbogen-1

Turbogen-1 is built with a 4.5-inch diameter rotor (disc) pack. This unit requires around 38 pounds of steam per horsepower-hour (1 hp-hour) at 125-150 psi. Output 1/3 horsepower. -- Electrical output is up to 250 watts, depending on fluid flow.

Turbogen-2

Turbogen-2 uses a 6-inch diameter disc pack. Requires roughly 100 pounds (3 hp) of steam per hour. Expected output: 1 horsepower. Electrical output is up to 750 watts for this 6" model, depending on fluid flow.

	50% down payment required with order form to begin the build; remaining 50% plus shipping due upon completion.
	We do NOT accept PayPal, credit cards or wire transfers.
	For customers within the U.S. we accept money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks or purchase orders from qualified universities.
	Foreign orders must be accompanied by a money order or cashier's check drawn in U.S. currency.
