The Phoenix KE (kinetic energy) Drive™
The hybrid vehicle revolution doesn't have to be postponed until next
decade. PNGinc now possesses the radical turbine hybrid technology that
will break through the barriers that prevent the motive power revolution
from taking off.

New Turbine Hydraulic Hybrid
The Phoenix KE (kinetic energy) Drive™ -- a new
T-HHV Turbine-Hydraulic Hybrid Vehicle drivetrain design --
consists of an advanced disk turbine which also acts as a
high-speed energy-storing flywheel, coupled to a hydraulic
accumulator pump/motor system.
PNGinc's proprietary differential drive system features:
 | 32 horsepower turbine (normal operating mode) with 40
hp being the absolute maximum |
 | hydraulic suspension |
 | differential steering |
All three key engine technologies – the Phoenix Turbine, Phoenix
UCB ultra-clean burner, and PDC (pulsed detonation) combustor – are
prototyped and operational in their Phase I or proof-of-principle
form.
There are no known major hurdles to get past before integration and
final pre-production engineering. The superiority of hydrostatic drives
is well documented, and PNGinc's chief technology officer has been
designing and working with hydrostatic hybrid vehicles since the 1960's.
We also have a long history of working with the hull construction
techniques that major auto companies are just starting to dabble in. Our
designs incorporate the suspension & drivetrain inside the hull - a
concept that is light years beyond current automotive reality.
